IMAT

Androscoggin Unified EMA owns and maintains the county's IMAT van,
the Androscoggin County Incident Management Assistant Team's
Mobile Command and Communication Post.

We maintain an extensive interoperable communications room within our Emergency Operations Center (EOC) with radios capable of communications
with all county public safety entities as well as local hospitals, water and sewer departments, school buses, parks and recreation departments, bus lines, amateur radio operators and more.
We are part of the state's EMA network tying us to the fifteen
other counties' EOCs and to MEMA in Augusta. Additionally, we are the county's National Warning System (NAWAS) Alternate Warning Point.

We also partner with our local amateur radio operators
to provide communications assistance during an emergency.
